Milestone birthdays, sweet sixteens and surprise parties need room to spread out. Here nobody else shares the property: the cake and the presents inside, the younger crowd down on the sand, and the toast on the dock while the sun goes down over Matlacha Pass.

Ten hours is enough to set up at noon, celebrate all afternoon and evening, and leave it tidy by ten.
